How to Send Weekly Collab Invite Reminders in Shopify

A great way to boost activation rates is by sending Collab Invite Reminders to those who have been invited but haven’t joined yet.

This guide provides a step-by-step process to send reminders to newly invited individuals weekly.

Before you begin, log in to your Shopify Admin panel.

Resend the Collab Invite

  1. In Shopify Admin, go to Collabs Recruiting Invited Creators.

  2. Click Sort → Date Invited (Newest first) (this is usually the default).
  3. Click Resend Invite button to send a reminder.
  4. Repeat the process until all newly invited individuals have been sent a reminder. 

If you do this weekly (every Sunday), you can just send reminders to the most recent invitees from the last 7 days.

Accepting Collab Applicants

As a result of these reminders, you may receive Collab Applicants. Shopify will notify you via email when an application comes in. When this happens, you’ll need to manually accept the application and send a Welcome Gift.

Follow these steps to review and approve applications:

  1. Go to Collabs from your Shopify Admin.
  2. Under Things to do next, click Review pending applicants.
  3. Click on the applicant’s name.
  4. Copy their Personalized Link (e.g., yourstore.com/COPYTHISLINK).
  5. Click Make an offer.
  6. On the right-hand side, click Edit and paste the applicant’s Personalized Link.
  7. Add offer benefits:
  8. Select Affiliate tierBrand Rep.
  9. Select Gift £XX Welcome Gift Voucher (Important: Ensure you select the Welcome Gift Voucher!).
  10. Click Send offer.
  11. Go back to Collabs and repeat this process for any remaining Pending Applicants.

The sooner you do this, the higher the likelihood that the Collaborator will onboard into your program and place a Gifted Order.

Why sending these reminders matter?

Consistently following these steps each week is essential for scaling your Brand Rep program. It increases activation rates and maximizes the return on your outreach efforts.

By making this a regular practice, you'll successfully onboard and activate more individuals into your Brand Rep program.

On average, for every 100 invites you send, you can expect to find 1-2 solid influencers who will be a great long-term fit for your brand. Many others will apply, join, and claim their free gifted product—that’s just part of the process. We have processes in place to identify the best ones that join your program.

The ideal influencers are those who continue using their recurring vouchers, place orders at least every 30 days, and generate consistent sales for your store.

The key here is volume. While you can be more selective, focusing on high outreach is the most effective strategy. The more people you reach out to, the higher your chances of finding influencers who are genuinely interested in working with your brand.
